Investment Strategy Analyst

About the Role

We're looking for Investment Strategy Analysts to evaluate AI-generated financial content, assess the quality of strategic analysis, and help ensure AI systems produce insights that meet the standards of real investment professionals.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. If you have a background in investment research, corporate strategy, consulting, or finance — and you know how to cut through noise and identify what actually drives value — we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Analyze company performance drivers, financial statements, and key business metrics
• Evaluate competitive positioning, market dynamics, and sector-specific trends
• Assess macro trends and their implications for strategic investment scenarios
• Compare qualitative narrative commentary against quantitative signals for consistency and accuracy
• Summarize opportunities, risks, and potential investment scenarios in clear, structured formats
• Deliver well-reasoned insights aligned to project briefs and analytical frameworks
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Background in investment research, equity analysis, corporate strategy, consulting, or finance
• Strong analytical reasoning — you can assess complex financial and competitive dynamics quickly
• Excellent written communication skills — you translate nuanced analysis into clear, structured insights
• Comfortable working across industries and adapting frameworks to new contexts
• Detail-oriented and consistent, with a high bar for analytical rigor
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without close supervision

Nice to Have

• Experience with valuation methodologies — DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, or similar
• Familiarity with sector-specific analytical frameworks (tech, healthcare, industrials, financials, etc.)
• CFA designation or progress toward it
• Prior experience in buy-side, sell-side, or strategy consulting environments
• Exposure to AI tools or financial data platforms
